Best Practices
Wales Builts’ unique turn-key service ensures that you can confidently commission the building of your home assured of an industry best practice outcome- from choosing the architect to receiving your keys and beyond. Here’s how it works:
1. Introduction
We go through our specification brief with you and work out a budget estimate, this helps you realise your budget’s potential, and is the first step in establishing a fixed price.
2. Preliminary Agreement
This includes co-ordinating the Architect, Engineers, Interior designer and all items nominated on the standard Master Builders Association’s document, to your exact requirements. This is the minimum pre-requisite in order to procure a “lump-sum”, “fixed price” tender, giving you the opportunity to adjust if necessary, your proposed budget.
3. Building Contract
This standard Master Builders Association contract gives you all the information relating to the complete and finished project, ready for your occupation, at a fixed price. The only way the price can change is by mutual consent, through a standard variation document.
4. Construction
This stage is where Wales Built’s applied perfectionism is demonstrated, and the reason our many satisfied customers is made clear. The time frame is stated in your building contract, and we keep you abreast of all stages of your project’s progress, including getting photographs to you wherever you are, in Australia or abroad.
5. Handover
The exciting moment when we deliver your keys to you, and you take possession of your pride and joy, secure in the knowledge that Wales Built’s after sales is incomparable. Fully backed up with a seven year structural guarantee period with an ongoing maintenance service available. There is no need for our relationship to end when you get your keys. All of our Clients feel secure knowing Wales Built’s Applied Perfectionism remains at your service.
